After a delicious breakfast on the second day of Gangtok touring, you will set off to explore the city. Gangtok is well-known for its monasteries, scenic beauty, and pleasant weather. Gangtok, one of the most popular places in north-east India, has various vistas from which to enjoy breathtaking views of the terrain. Possibly Sikkim's biggest stupa, Do Drul Chorten was built on a hillock in 1945 by Late Truslshi Rimpoche, the head of the Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The golden-colored dome is the most striking feature of this structure. 2 huge statues of Guru Rinpoche (Guru Padmasambhava) look stunning. In the complex, one can spot lamas doing their prayers.

Do Drul Chorten, possibly Sikkim's largest stupa, was built on a mound in 1945 by Late Truslshi Rimpoche, the head of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. The golden dome is the most noticeable aspect of this edifice. Two massive statues of Guru Rinpoche (Guru Padmasambhava) stand out. Lamas can be seen praying throughout the facility.

Enchey Monastery, which was founded in 1909, is a magnificent site of worship. Because the monastery is positioned on a hill, it provides a beautiful view of Mt Kanchenjunga. The internal walls of the Gompas are painted with images of deities and are known for their Chinese—Pagoda-like style. Here, Lord Buddha and Guru Padmasambhava are worshipped. In addition, the facility has a monastery.

The Flower Exhibition Center, located near Ride Park and White Hall, hosts a year-round flower show. The exhibition area is a tiny greenhouse with a variety of beautiful flowers on show such as orchids, roses, gerberas, carnations, celosia, and so on (according to season). Don't forget to take pictures here. After the excursion, return to the hotel for a lavish dinner. Stay at a hotel in Gangtok for the night.

Day 03: Full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

After breakfast, set out for a day's journey to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet) or Changu Lake is a glacier lake 38 kilometres away that draws its water from the snow-covered mountains that surround it. The sight is breathtaking, and it is a popular stopover for Brahminy ducks and other migratory birds. Because it is a popular tourist destination, there are some businesses selling trinkets and Yak cheese. Yak rides are another option for exploring the magnificent countryside. Admire the picturesque vistas and pay a visit to the Lord Shiva shrine on the lake's shores.

Thereafter, start moving towards Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial War temple, around 20 km from here. Placed near Jelep Pass, the temple lies at an elevation of 13000 feet. This shrine is dedicated to a soldier Harbhajan Singh of the 23rd Punjab Regiment, who sacrificed his life in the Indo-China war of 1962. It is said that after his death in the war, the soldier came in the dreams of one of his friends and asked him to construct a memorial for him. For the same reason, the Indian Army built this memorial in remembrance of the sacrifice of this soldier. After some time, this war memorial turned into a shrine. Built-in 1983, the temple is in the bunker of this martyr and consists of his pictures, dresses and other personal belongings. There is a small wishing pond nearby where you can throw a coin to make a wish. You can also visit Nathula Pass which is located 20 km from the Republic of China. The visit to Nathula Pass is optional.

The Peace Pagoda, was debuted in November 1992 and is located on the slopes of Jalaphar hill, is a major attraction here. This hallowed location depicts Lord Buddha's four avatars.
