Day 1: Arrival Delhi – Haridwar

Welcome to your Char Dham yatra package, starting from Delhi driving towards Haridwar. On your way to Haridwar, we will get your Biometric registration done for the entire Yatra.

On reaching Haridwar, check in to your hotel and take some rest for an exciting evening ahead. In the evening, you will visit the Har- Ki- Pauri and attend the grand Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and have a comfortable stay at night.

Day 2: Drive from Haridwar to Barkot

A fresh morning! You will depart for Barkot / Jankichatti- a beautiful hill station located at the foot of Yamunotri. As you drive through Mussoorie, you will visit the famous Kempty Falls on your way. Later in the day, you will arrive at Barkot where you will check into your hotel/camp. The rest of the day is kept free to relax and rejuvenate and store your energy for the Pahad ( trekking ) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day. Dinner and Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot– Yamunotri – Barkot

Feeling the energy already at Yamunotri Dham, we would start the day with a healthy breakfast and depart for Hanumanchatti (10 Km), Janki Chatti (5 km). Here you will begin the First Pahad Char Dham Yatra of Yamunotri (6 Km trek). You have the option of hiring palki, ponies, or a horse for your trek. (At your own cost).

This trek passes through a lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti, and several species of Himalayan shrubs.

Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 m), the westernmost shrine of the Char Dhams, is snuggled in the Bandarpunch range (6,361 m). Yamunotri, the source of the river Yamuna, is believed to be the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death. The Yamuna is also the daughter of Surya the Sun. The actual source of the river originates from Champasar Glacier 1 km ahead of the shrine, at an altitude of 4,321 mts. On arrival by afternoon in Yamunotri, you would like to take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and perform Pooja.

Later in the evening, we would return to Barkot through the same route, where you would stay at Hotel / Camp, with your dinner arrangements.

Day 4: Drive Barkot – Uttarkashi

Today, we will move ahead to Uttarkashi, after breakfast, we will start the drive. On arrival, you will check-in at the hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. In Uttarkashi, you must not miss the famous Vishwanath temple, and that is what is planned for a visit later that evening. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Early morning breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangotri Dham. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 m. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. After performing Pooja, in the afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

The next destination is Guptkashi. You will start with an early morning breakfast and leave early in the morning. On reaching, check-in to the hotel. Guptkashi is located at a distance of 47 km from the holy shrine, Kedarnath. The town holds immense religious importance as it houses famous ancient temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnarishwar Temple.

Next up, you will get your medical/health checkup done for your next day’s journey to Kedarnath. You will have your dinner and stay overnight in the hotel/camp for a very spiritual day tomorrow.

Day 7: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath

After early morning breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag- here begins our 14 k trek to Kedarnath Dham. You may hire a Doli, ponies, or a horse, for your trek (At your own cost).

You will see the serene Mandakini river, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges which originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund. Amidst all the peace, you will hear "Jai Bholenath" chants echoing the mountains. The majestic mist envelops the mountains giving you a glimpse of the picturesque beauty of the valley leaving you in awe of it. Later after the trek, you will check-in at Govt. Camps/Lodges in Kedarnath and take some rest. Have a healthy night’s meal and a pleasant stay at Govt. Camps/Lodges in Kedarnath.

Day 8: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi/Rudraprayag

The 8th day is scheduled for the darshan of ‘KedarnathJi’. Early in the morning you will get up before dawn, freshen up and reach the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek’ to Kedarnath lord Shiva. Everyone can go inside the ‘Garbha Griha’ and touch the idol. You can also prostate with your head touching the deity etc. After Kedarnath darshan and puja, you come out of the temple and return to the Govt. Camps / Lodges.

Later in the day, you'll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. The vehicles would be ready for you in Sonprayag Car Parking from where you’ll drive back to your hotel in Guptkashi/Rudraprayag. Dinner will be served and  an overnight stay is arranged at Guptkashi/ Rudraprayag itself.

Day 9: Rudraprayag / Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath

Happy Morning! Have your morning meal, check out of the hotel at 08:00 am, and drive to Badrinath temple via Joshimath. Badrinath is an important pilgrimage site that holds immense importance for both Hindus and Buddhists. Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is set at a height of 3133 meters.

After driving through some wonderful Ghat road you will reach Badrinath. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest and refresh yourself, and be prepared for your next darshan at Badrinath Temple in the evening. Before the darshan, you will visit the Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), bathe yourself, and then enter the temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. With the wonderful darshan, you would return to the hotel for your dinner and a pleasant stay overnight.

Day 10:  Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

Another fun-filled day would begin with the darshan at Badrinath Temple. Later, you would return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will be taken for local sightseeing at Badrinath, where you would visit major attractions of Badrinath such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple.

In the afternoon, you will check out from the hotel and head towards Rudraprayag via Joshimath. En-route visit Karanprayag. Rudra Prayag holds a strong religious significance with stunning natural beauty and tranquility. On reaching Rudraprayag, check-in to the hotel. You can relax for the rest of the day and explore the beauty of Rudraprayag. Have a happy and wonderful stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh

The 11th day of the tour begins with an early morning breakfast, starting for the downhill drive to Rishikesh, another spiritual city. It is also well renowned as the 'Yoga Capital of the World'. This town is located on the foothills of the Himalayas, on the convergence of the River Ganga and River Chandrabhaga. This pilgrimage town is nestled in the Dehradun district and is famous for the adventure sports, and also a famous spiritual center.

On reaching Rishikesh, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and rest for a while. Later, you will go out sightseeing. One must not miss Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula.

In the evening, you will attend the Ganga Aarti which is a very auspicious and holiest ritual performed on the Ghat of Rishikesh. Get a deep insight into the Hindu culture and enjoy a soulful experience. Later, you will return to the hotel for your overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 12: Departure Delhi

It is always tough to say goodbyes and this trip will be an emotional moment. This is the last day of the tour where your Char Dham yatra ends.

Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and check out early. We will drive you back to Delhi and in Delhi, you will have an assisted transfer to the Railway Station / Airport for the onward journey.
